Last Minute Valentines Day Ideas
So you have waited till the last minute to do your Valentines Day shopping. Let's face it guys, no man wants to face his sweetie empty handed on V-Day. So here are a few last minute ideas,
1. Write a poem. Some girls think that poems are romantic, but beware the skeptic who does not believe that men can have such romantic notions, let alone put them into a poem,
2. Make a romantic CD. If you have access to a computer and have a blank CD, download some mushy tunes and make her a love CD.
3. Flowers. Call her in some flowers. It is a cliche, is expected and traditional, yet effective.
4. Do some romantic origami. For those unfamiliar with origami, it an art form comprised of folding paper into shapes. She may find your artistic side romantic.
5. Sing her a song. Better yet, write her a song and sing it to her. Even if you can't sing she will give you an A for effort.
6. Give her a Walmart gift certificate or make the ultimate sacrifice and take her shopping yourself.
7. Take her out to eat at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. You can eat at Cracker Barrel without a reservation and the prices at Cracker Barrel prices are super reasonable.
8. If you are married offer to watch the kids so she can go out with her friends or just have some time for herself.
9. Take her to a romantic movie or rent one to watch.
10. Put on a red suit, wrap a ribbon around yourself and tell your honey that you give yourself to her as her special Valentine.
The main thing is that you make an effort at showing your significant other that she is special. May you have a happy Valentines Day and may God bless.

Confusion
Confusion, what is my next move? What does God want me to do with what I have been given? These dreams and aspirations are they from God or just fleshly delusions to detract me from my true purpose. I want to follow God's plan for my life, but at this point I feel immobilized by the not knowing. So I wait, yes I wait upon my Lord. In the words of the late Rich Mullins, My deliverer is coming, my deliver is nigh.

Embracing the Enemy
Each day I arose, facing an enemy unseen
Fear gripped mt heart as I watched his angry sword gleam
I had seen him cut down the masses down through the pages of time
I knew one day that I must face him for myself, there was nowhere I could hide.
I found myself a prisoner, captive of a terrible foe
A prisoner of the fear that within my trembling heart did grow
Wearied of the paralysis that held my soul in an unrelenting vise
A thought alighted in my tortured mind,a illuminating revelation, as it were a word to the wise
Embrace your enemy, welcome him as a friend
Resign yourself to the meeting your source fear and dread
For in doing so you will release your soul to embrace a life that is truly free
It's inevitable the enemy is coming, so why waste your years worrying about that of which you have no say

Canada Offering Oil to China
Canada is offering their oil to China according to the Neil Cavuto show on the Fox News Saturday morning business block. This is oil that could have come to the United States through the Keystone pipeline. The Keystone pipeline will bring oil down from Canada to US refineries. Obama failed to give the go ahead for the pipeline, now China may be the beneficiaries of Canadian oil, while Americans may reap the benefits of higher prices at the pump. A poll on the Cavuto show revealed that 98.5% of Americans had rather get oil from Canada as opposed to other sources. It is time for Obama to respect the wishes of his fellow countrymen.
