Frank Boorn Stops in at Cracker Barrel for Lunch
I have taking care of Frank for several years at Cracker Barrel and have found always to be the perfect gentleman. Frank is a legend among Harley enthusiast, having the second most documented miles of riding on a Harley Davidson. Frank's mileage is fully documented by Earl Small Harley Davidson in Marietta, Ga. At the present time, Frank Boorn has rode over 1,000,000 miles on a Harley. Frank's travels has taken him to all 50 states and also to Mexico, Canada, Holland and Australia.
Frank is not your stereotypical biker, although he is well respected by rough and tough bikers. Frank is a follower of Jesus and not ashamed of it. Frank proudly wears the WWJD(What would Jesus do) emblem on his black leather jacket. I am proud and feel honored to call Frank my friend and have him to think enough of me to come in to Cracker Barrel and sit in my section. May Frank ride well and long on his Harley, may he log another couple of million miles on his his bike.

Newt Says He will Issue Executive Order for Keystone if Elected
Gingrich's willingness to issue an executive order to start work on the Keystone Oil Pipeline shows that he knows the importance of reducing our dependence on foreign oil. If you are tired of paying high gas prices and of being held hostage by OPEC oil moguls, consider Newt Gingrich for the republican candidate for president and let us do our best to help him make it all the way to the Oval Office this year.

Heavy Burden
Each step produced a fresh grimace of pain
Deep lines and creases criss-crossed a face that showed the ruthless
effects of wind, sun and years.
Eyes fixed hard with determination sparkled
As he struggled with a burden that was his to bear
Those who passed by him felt sorry for the old man struggling along
Oppressed by a cumbersome load.
Step by step he carried his load
Performing his laborious task driven by a purpose
That propelled him onward and filled his weary heart
With a joy and satisfaction that only those who carry the cross will ever know
The Climb
Capped with the snow that turned the bright rays of sunlight into searing blinding rays of light.
Above me lay a true blue canopy with bright white wisps of clouds that resembled the padding that lined those boxes they put you in when you draw your last.
I was on top of the world? Far above the dreary carnage in the badlands below.
Up here, the thin crisp air burned in my lungs and made me feel alive, oh my friend all was well.
Yes, all was well as the last embers of fire dwindled down and I hunkered down in my sleeping bag.
No more matches meant no fire, no heat,no hope.
Two days in my frozen tomb. But now it was back to my mountain peak, I closed my eyes and climbed.

Why Blog?
A Blog Following Won't Happen Overnight
You can't expect to build a large blog following overnight, it will take time. If you will committ to blogging regularly and providing quality content for your readers, overtime you increase your chances of building a substancial readership.
- Be consistent in your postings, post several post a day if possible.
- Be concise, do not post fluff. Do not make your reader read through a barrage of useless, unneeded words to get to the meat of your posts.
- Be relevent. Provide relevent content for your readers, provide content that your readers will find useful.
Benefits of Blogging
One obvious benefit of blogging is the satifaction of sharing something that people want to read. Why do writers write? I am going to be bold in saying that they want someone to read their writings. I know that people who write for a living want to make money off their publishings, but there is a satifaction of knowing that people enjoy reading your writing.
Another benefit of blogging is the opportunity to make money off your blog. Advertisers will pay ypu money for ads shown on your blog. If you choose to monetize your blog, advertisers will pay you money everytime someone clicks on their ads displayed on your blog, this could turn into an extra source of income for you.
So whether you choose to blog for the joy of sharing your writing or to build an extra stream of income. If you the urge hits you, BLOG!
Latest GDP Numbers Do Not Meet Expectations
Obama when commenting on the latest figures stated that we are moving in the right direction; however, it may not feel like we are moving in the right direction to the 8.5% or more of those who are currently unemployed. You cannot blame Obama for his optimistic remarks, and any increase in the GDP is better than none or regressing, but if he is genuinely concerned about the state of the economy and the unemployed why did he not give the green light for the Keystone Pipeline. The Keystone Pipeline, according to some sources will provide upwards of 20,000 jobs and could reduce America's dependence on foreign oil. Why does Obama not give the go ahead for this project? In an election year it is a great mystery.
Even though the economy may still be shaky, with a slower than expected GDP growth and unemployment still hovering between 8 to 9%, may we realize that we are not are the makers of our own destiny, God is still in control. While it is true that decisions we make affect our lives, God is in control of those things we can't control.
May we pray that God will give us the wisdom to make the right decisions about things we can control, such as being financially responsible and socially and politically responsible by voting for leaders that will make responsible fiscal decisions for our country.

Consistency
I have worked out 3 days a week for two weeks in a row at the True Fitness Your Way gym located in downtown Blue Ridge, Ga. During the holidays my working out was sporadic and actually ceased for a few weeks. In an exercise program consistency is critical. If you are seeking to build muscle mass and lose fat as I am trying to do, you need to workout on a regular basis. I am currently shooting for three days of weight training per week at the True Fitness gym and for one day of Karate at Dan Haymore's United Karate Studios, which I hope to increase to at least twice a week of in the future.
To build muscle you must train on a regular basis, breaking down the muscle cells and allowing them recovery time to build back. In my opinion, the three day a week, every other day is a a good workout schedule to start with, then you may want to vary it as you advance. I believe that if you are serious about building a better body that three day a week is a minimum amount of days to train.
The important thing though is to be consistent, make it to the gym on a regular basis. Even on days that you do not feel like going, go anyways. If you can't make it through a full workout, do an abbreviated one. The main thing is to go. Some people focus on weight training techniques, exercise systems and programs, diet or other components of working out. These things are important, but the most important thing to build is the character trait of consistency. The best workout programs and latest training techniques in the world are worthless unless they are practiced on a consistent basis. Get out to gym and be there, be there, be there!
If you are looking for a good place to workout I recommend True Fitness Your Way in downtown Blue Ridge, Ga. The equipment and atmosphere is awesome and the owners are super nice and great to work with.

Unseen Border?
The unseen border that separates what can be seen from the unseen.
Is there really a dividing line between the natural and the supernatural?
Or is our perception simply a erroneous misconception?
Perhaps there is not a border between the two realms, maybe the physical is wrapped in the metaphysical.
Perhaps what we consider unreal is what is truly real.

Why No Keystone Pipeline Mr. Obama?
My dear fellow Americans, please do not give Obama four more years. May we as Americans show better judgement in November than we did in the last election.
Downtown Blue Ridge Fitness Center is Now TrueFitness Your Way
If you are looking for a place to work out, I recommend TrueFitness Your Way. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and the exercise equipment is awesome. Since changing hands from the Blue Ridge Downtown Fitness center, The new owners have not only changed the name to TrueFitness Your Way, but have also brought in some new equipment, which includes some Hammer Strength machines. The Hammer Strength equipment is suppose to be the latest in weight training technology; I have really enjoyed using the new machines, and now working out is not a chore, but something I look forward to these days. Stop by at the TrueFitness Your Way Gym and check it out for yourself.

Time to Buy More Minutes for Net10 Phone
Now life is more than cell phones and other technological gadgets, it is more than food and drink, more than jobs, possesions and money; life is about our relationship with Jesus. Either we have a relationship with Him or we don't, do you know Him. Check out this video about God's grace.
If you don't know Jesus, get to know Him, repent of your sins and place your faith in the risen Christ who died and rose again from the dead. If you don't have a cell phone, get you a Net10 phone.

My Woods
The woods that I frequented in the bright morning of my life.
Those days when all it took was a sunny day with blue skies to make everything seem alright.
I lost myself in the rich green foliage, the babbling brook and the smell of decaying leaves interspersed with the smell of the new life of forest blooms carried on the warm spring breeze that rustled the outstretched arms of my old friends who stood as sentries guarding the sacred sanctuary of my adolescence.
I basked in the wondrous sunlight of the precious years that were gone.
Letting the warmth of childhood memories warm my weary, heartsick bones.
For a moment in time everything was alright. I was in a place where everything was good, surrounded with the beauty that was my garden of Eden. Here, in these woods I felt that I was safe from the odious evil of this planet called earth.
Caw, caw. I awoke, the angry cawing of a belligerent crow brought me back to reality, reminding me.
That though I felt safe here in my little paradise, it was just an illusion, for things aren’t always what they seem to be.
