Giant Jellyfish

This is a long way from Blue Ridge, Ga., but it seemed pretty interesting to me. Giant Jellyfish invading Japan. I sure hope they don't reach Blue Ridge Lake. Can you imagine giant Jellyfish in the swimming area at Morganton Point on Blue Ridge Lake, sounds downright scary and hilarious at the same time. Anyways read the story and if you happen to go to Blue Ridge lake or any lake for that matter, look out for Jellyfish. Just kidding of course for you out of town folks that don't know that Blue Ridge lake don't have no Jellyfish, just giant Catfish.

Michael Jackson

I am not meaning to make light of the demise of the pop legend Michael Jackson. He has been the main topic on news shows the past several days, and you can't turn on a news network without hearing his name. I was watching one famous newsman's show as he was interviewing a former associate of Michael Jackson, when I heard a statement that struck me as funny. The statement went something like this," If Michael Jackson don't change his ways, one day he is going to wake up dead." That of course is not the exact words except for the part "one day he is going to wake up dead".

My question is this, how does somebody wake up dead. Isn't the whole thing about being dead is that you don't wake up. Wouldn't it be a trip to wake up dead. I mean one minute you are fine, and then the next minute you wake up dead. Personally I don't want to wake up dead, I just want to sleep through the whole thing.

I do believe in the next life, and that we will wake up in either one of two places, but I don't believe that is what he was talking about, of course I could be wrong. he may been referring to Michael Jackson awaking in eternity. Anyways it strikes me funny, to say that somebody will one day wake up dead. May we all wake up alive in the morning, and may our thought and prayers be with the Jackson family.

Micheal Jackson

It is very unfortunate that Micheal Jackson left this world at a somewhat early age. He was a multi-talented man and was loved by many around the globe. So much potential, so much to offer, but what really killed Micheal Jackson? Originally we were told that it was cardiac arrest, but now there is reports that he was taking a some strong prescription narcotics.

We don't know the pain that he was experiencing, physically or emotionally. All we know is that a beloved music icon isn't with us anymore. We have had other celebrities who have died sudden deaths that may have been related to prescription meds. What is going on with the doctors that are giving excessive amounts of drugs to these celebrities? Why do they do it? Do they not know better? Are they motivated by greed as the celebrities may pay them for these prescriptions? I am just speculating, but these are questions that need to be addressed.

Micheal Jackson, gone but not forgotten 1958-2009

What To Consider When Choosing A Hiking Trail

What To Consider When Choosing A Hiking Trail

Author: Tim Roseland

Are you interested in going on a hiking adventure? Whether that hiking adventure will last for a few hours or a whole weekend, you will need to choose a hiking trail. When it comes to choosing a hiking trail, you need to remember that you have a number of different options. No matter where in the United States you are located, you should have a number of hiking trails located a close distance away from your home. Since you have a number of different choices, you may be wondering how you can go about finding the "perfect," hiking trail. To help you choose the best hiking trail, there are a number of important factors that you may want to take into consideration.

One of the many factors that you will want to take into consideration is the difficulty of the hiking trail in question. You will find that hiking trails come in a number of different formats, particularly with difficulty levels. In fact, you may find that multiple parks have numerous hiking trails to choose from. Instead of choosing a hiking trail based on the beauty of the surroundings, you will want to examine difficulty. If this is your first time going on a hiking adventure, it may be best if you choose a trial that is designed for beginners or at least those at an intermediate level.

In conjunction with the difficultly of a trail, your safetyis also something that should be take into consideration. You will want to make sure that you are on a hiking trial that is well maintained and well cared for. While it can be difficult to assess a hiking trail without visiting it, it is possible to do. If you know of anyone who has been hiking recently, you may want to ask them which hiking trial they took and their views on their experience, namely the condition of the hiking trail in question. Searching the internet for user experiences on a particuar trail is also helpful when evaluating a trail.

Another factor that you may want to take into consideration, when looking for a hiking trail, is security. Is the hiking trial or hiking park in question closely monitored by staff, namely security guards? In today's society, you can never be too careful, especially when in surroundings that are unfamiliar to you. Hiking trails or parks that have security guards are not only ideal in case you run into a problem, like with a stranger with poor intentions, but they are also great in the event of a hiking accident. Hiking trails or hiking parks with experienced staff members are less likely to have extreme or deadly hiking accidents.

As it was previously mentioned, hiking adventures can last for a few hours or be long as a whole weekend. If you are also interested in turning your hiking adventure into a camping one, you will need to find a hiking trial or at least a hiking park that has overnight accommodations. In most cases, you will find that these accommodations include an onsite campground. If you are only interested in hiking for the day, the overnight accommodations of the hiking trail or hiking park in question may not be a big concern of yours.

Price is another factor that you may want to take into consideration, when choosing a hiking trail to hike. In the United States, you will find that most hiking trails or parks are not free to visit. In all honesty, the fee that you are charged will all depend on the trail or park in question. Most of the time, you will find that the cost of hiking is affordable, but it is still something that you may want to take into consideration, especially if you are on a budget.

The above mentioned factors are just a few of the many factors that you may want to take into consideration, when looking for a hiking trail or a hiking part to visit. By keeping the above mentioned factors in mind, you will likely find that your next hiking adventure will be a memorable one.

Online Stock Broker - How To Find The Best Online Stock Broker

Online Stock Broker - How To Find The Best Online Stock Broker

Author: Mika Hamilton

Online brokers have an important role to play when you open an online trading account. Each broker can offer different services and features. You must research all the online brokers to find the best broker to meet your needs. I have listed a large number of online brokers and placed their information for you to read in one easy-to-read webpage. This is a free, "no-cost to you" service for our valued readers and can be found on this link: Best Online Stock Brokers

What to look for in an online broker.

Brokerage rates – this is the rate at which you are charged for buying or selling through your online account. These rates are usually charged based on a sliding scale. The more units you purchase in a single transaction, the less the "cost per unit" you will pay. The exact sliding scale can vary and may sometimes be negotiable for larger purchases. Compare each broker and read the fine print within contracts. Pick the one that best meets your buying and selling style.

Account fees
– Look for hidden fees in account contracts within the terms and conditions. I know of one broker who requires an extra $10 to transfer money out of an account "quickly" as against withdrawing money normally. Hardly a fair fee, I’d say. All fees should be listed in the terms and conditions listed in opening an account.

Phone access – Online services can go down during hours of service. Interruptions to broadband services, power outages and computer problems can stop you from accessing information you need at critical points. This is why you must have phone access to your online broker. Do not even consider using an online broker if they do not provide phone access.

Access to your money – I prefer having instant access to my money even though it is held in a cash account by the broker. Most brokers will have a cash account facility that is linked to your trading account. My account is linked to a MasterCard account, which means I can access that money anytime through any ATM or make purchases as I would normally using a MasterCard. Don’t be misled into thinking you must only have a separate cash holding account with the online broker. There are lots of options open to you as a client and good online brokers will provide several options for your cash holding account.

Extra benefits – seek out those brokers that give you extra incentives to open an account with them. Some offer a limited free brokerage period. Others will offer free reports on the markets you are interested in. These bonus offers can help you getting you account established and setup a profitable trading account. For more information on finding the best online stock broker feel free to visit our website.

Sporting Goods Gifts,Eric Morris

Got any gift ideas for someone on a special occasion? You may have grown tired of the stereotypical gifts such as shirts, CDs, DVDs, books, lockets, key chains, and so on; maybe it is time you give someone close to you something that he or she can truly appreciate and use. Is that person into sports or addicted to outdoor activities? Then you should give him or her sporting goods.

Sporting goods gift ideas range from collectible items like caps, bats, racquets, balls, gloves, jerseys, maps, navigation aids, night vision, knives, binoculars, and harnesses. You can even have them personalized and customized by having the name of the recipient engraved onto the items. Below are some ideas, from the most inexpensive to the most expensive.

Spice up your home or the office of your recipient by hanging up a wall clock of his or her favorite football team. Get an officially licensed wall clock made of durable plastic and decorated in the team colors, with the team name and perhaps helmet at the center. All the teams have their own clocks: the New York Jets, the Miami Dolphins, the San Francisco 49ers, etc. Expect to spend about $20.

International soccer shirts are all the craze. For about $50 to $70, you can give this gift to soccer aficionados. These shirts are made from the same material that real soccer jerseys are made of, and they have the logo of such teams as Croatia, Bulgaria, Spain, Czech Republic, England, Argentina, and Brazil, among many others. These gifts are not only very functional, they are also very fashionable.

Into the Darkness

Into the darkness, I've feel like I've been thrown

Blue skies and bright sunshine are to me unknown

The weight of the night bearing on my soul

As dark storm clouds around me roll

So I wait for the morning, when will it come

How long will my heart rot in this slum

Till I have wasted away and my brain is numb

Oh may I not to this darkness succumb

Do I need Insurance

Statistics reveal that around 47 million Americans are still not in possession of health insurance owing to several reasons, like unemployment, underemployment, severe layoffs, not to mention of several other commitments like children’s education, social obligations and household expenses etc. In the midst of all these, if a number of people are staying away from insuring their cars, it is not a big surprise. In the current economic crisis, car insurance may not merit any priority on their list at all. As far as common man is concerned, a lot of thought goes behind every penny that is being spent now. With the companies lying off people every day, health insurance premiums are going up and people are pinching every penny possible to meet the premium requirement.
In this scenario, car insurance is a difficult prospect, and even if some people are interested, they may be on the look out for cheapest possible premium. This is not a surprise though. But, one must use exercise some prudence here. If you own a car, you must definitely be making use of it some time or the other. And when you take your car on the road, you may be very careful while driving, but what is the guarantee that nobody will harm your car or nothing is going to happen to it. Your car might some suffer some damage due to the negligence of a third person, or there my even be a hit and run case where you cannot locate the driver of the car or its number. Then what do you do? Pay for the repairs through your nose or keep the car at home in damaged condition because you cannot afford its repair? Either option does not work in your favor.
The best alternative would be to work out a budget from your monthly income and scour all your expenses thoroughly and eke out some small amount of money which can be set aside for car insurance. Have a small meeting of the family members and seek their cooperation too in arriving at this amount. You will be surprised to discover that it is not a difficult task after all and required only some minor readjustments. Now, do all that you possibly can to look for cheapest car insurance? Consult your friends, relatives, acquaintances, go through all the relevant books on the subject and spend some time in collecting the statistics. People with personal experiences with are able to give valuable information which you will need to consider before finalizing. While collecting data on cheap insurance, find out the prerequisites of the company too, if there are any. Some companies demand too much documentation, which are actually superfluous and involve wasting lot of time. When you have succeeded in collecting the names, consider the reputations of the companies too in the market. Some companies might promise the moon but fail miserably when it comes to prove their credibility. Do not fall for the sweet talks of agents, but be firm and learn to say “no” if you are not impressed with their rates or performance.
Also, take all the precautions with your car that need to be observed in order to reduce your premium rate, like working on your vehicles security system, parking in garage or under a roof where the likelihood of damage is minimal. If your car is owner-driven and is used sparingly, it is better. You may use the internet facility too and convince yourself thoroughly that the rate you have on hand is the cheap and reliable at the same time. Keep in mind all these factors before buying the insurance.
